Great bargain. Clean. No frills. Polite staff. Quiet. Great location downtown. Breakfast included homemade breakfast tortillas plus other standard packaged stuff. If they have a spot take it.

Bed bugs, outdated, and not worth the price. I woke up the next morning with dozens of bed bug bites on my body, and being severely allergic to these types of bites is an very unpleasant experience for me. Regardless, here is my list of pros and cons about the place. Pros: Decent continental breakfast (served 6:00-9:30 AM), ceiling fan, small fridge and microwave in room, helpful and friendly staff, affordable, accepts pets for a small fee, all non-smoking rooms, good parking availability, security cameras outside Cons: BED BUGS, very outdated, weak spring coiled mattresses, stiff pillows and rough linens, thin and small bath towels, fuzzy screened tiny TV, very little privacy (open the curtains and you’re completely exposed to the parking lot), no exterior lock on hallway entrance (scary) or interior lock on door (scarier), no clock (hope you have a phone!), stuffy and no AC, baseboard heater that doesn’t adjust to temperature, weak powered and loose outlets (seemed dangerous). I wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel experience by any means, but I would have rather paid an additional $30 for a nicer mattress, NO BEDBUGS, higher quality bedding, better room temperature control, and more security.

This was our second stay in this quiet, laid back place next to the Powder River. The staff is very helpful and full of great ideas about where to explore and eat. This is definitely an area to delve further into and hope to try that next July. The historical aspects of this area are fascinating. Many nearby shops offer items for gifts and to investigate the history of this area.

Friendly service ! Pet friendly. Also has a dog park in back of the hotel which is helpful and useful. Does have cameras all around the property. Breakfast was great and staff is very friendly and kind. Room was a bit creepy and floor wasn't leveled. Clean sheets. Plug ins seem dangerous. No secure locks inside room. Room is only Key accessible. Has cable, microwave and tiny fridge and phone.

The inn was close to the highway and the parking spaces could be found close to any door. No, stairs was a plus. The beds were good but the walls do not block out sound very well. Breakfast was offered and enjoyable.

The people here are very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The place is old, but well maintained and very clean. A couple of tips: do not stand directly in front of the bathroom sink when you first turn the faucet on... You may end up soaked! And, the sink was taking forever (more than 5 minutes) to bring up the hot water, so i finally turned on the shower's hot water and immediately received hot water to the sink! A bit odd, but it worked! Furnishings are old, but clean, and it sufficed just fine for one night. Rates were very reasonable and the place was incredibly quiet. Cable TV and Wi-Fi are included, as is breakfast from 6:00 to 9:30am. Breakfast ended too early for me, so I can't rate the quality of it. Coffee is not available all day. I would stay here again, if needed, to rest from traveling.

Friendly service until you pay then the owner becomes rude if she doesn't like you. The beds are back breaking. You can't see the TV very well even sitting right in front of it. You hear everything through thin walls. Your best bet is to drive the extra 45 minutes to lagrande if the eldorado or the best Western is full. I've never crossed such insanity with any motel but the owners are unbearable I would avoid this place at all costs.

Clean and comfortable. Not glamorous, but a good place to stay and you can't beat the price. I do wish the towels we're a bit more substantial, but there were plenty of the to get the job done.

A good value motel. Rooms are dated but clean. Walls are thin, but that's to be expected in an old building. Very much a case of you get what you pay for. As a budget motel I would say this is a good location. As a nice hotel I would say look elsewhere.
