Update 6/4/18 Another amazing visit. It’s like they take a resort that can’t get any better and then they do. The staff was warm and friendly, cabin was clean and had an excellent view, and we even had a charcoal grill delivered! Thanks for the the memories Gordon Lodge! With so many lodging options these days I chose Gordon Lodge because of the people experience. Don't get me wrong, the resort is beautiful as was the room I stayed in but I look for a lot more than that when I travel. I look for warm greetings, an appreciation that I am a customer, and competent staff that can take care of my every need. If you want an experience and not just a place to stay, go to Gordon Lodge.

The cabin that we stayed in was amazing. Perfect for a nice little getaway for our anniversary. The staff was friendly and the views were amazing. But I don’t recommen going here or most of Door County in May. The mayflies were AWFUL! When I say awful I mean AWFUL! We were unaware of this since it’s our first time up here but we didn’t get to enjoy our time outside much. Our cabin has a bench down by the lake and a deck right outside our door but we couldn’t use it at all. I just wish we would have known or that the hotel would have warned us about it since we paid a good amount of money for this cabin. It seems like a very nice place and hopefully next time we can come back in the fall or when the mayflies go away!

Awesome deal on a lake view room last minute. Updated room but 1970s bathroom. It was more funny than disappointing. Everyone was so nice. Free parking and free awesome breakfast till 10. Nice hot tub, pool, and great view of water from everywhere. This reminded me of the dirty dancing resort. Within 20ish minutes of exploring the whole peninsula. We loved every moment here and will be back.

Beautiful location - can't argue with that. The cottages are TINY though and quite outdated. In fact, the whole place has a 1950s feel that is just old rather than quaint or retro.

My husband and I had our wedding here in October, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Cayla was a godsend. We were planning our wedding in the midst of moving from the east coast to the west coast, and while one of us was looking for a new job. Cayla is a great communicator and responded to our emails very quickly. If she didn't know the answer to something right away, she would find out the information promptly from someone else. Everything was straight-forward from the very beginning and we didn't have to deal with any unexpected surprises throughout the planning process or on the day of our wedding. Cayla also helped keep us on track with decision-making along the way so that we weren't scrambling for last minute solutions. At the same time, she remained very flexible and had backup plans available if the weather did not cooperate for our outdoor events. The professionalism of the entire staff, their organization and efficiency, and their friendliness is something to be commended. Gordon Lodge really made the entire planning process and our wedding day stress-free! Plus, the grounds are beautiful!

My husband and I booked our Rehearsal Dinner at Gordon Lodge for the night before our Wedding in Egg Harbor. We had the boathouse underneath Top Deck, it was an absolute wonderful experience. From the very beginning, Amy was very helpful, attentive, and responsive. We coordinated everything over email since we live in the Chicago-land area. She was great! We had the Summer Picnic Buffet as our dinner and everyone loved the food. The atmosphere and the bar staff were outstanding. We were very pleased! I would highly recommend Gordon Lodge for dining, lodging, and event planning.

Monday night $2.00 fish tacos-the best Monday night deal around. Tacos were large. Two fills you up! We reserved a table for 12- great service and an amazing view! Even on a cloudy evening, we still had the glow of the sunset off the water. Outside dining has a great view as well.

The rooms are well cleaned and taken care of the hotel has a wonderful mid century feel to it. The view of North Bay and Lake Michigan is fantastic. The property is beautiful to wander on with trails to walk, and bikes available for use. On site restaurant with a full bar and great staff. A good variety of food with a fantastic view! Kayaks and paddle boats available for your use with a nice small sand beach for the kids to pay on with toys. Great little pool to cool off in if you don't want to swim in North Bay, but it is great swimming! We adore this property, it's the place you take your family for generations.
