Room was smaller, but totally fine. Great location in Catalina. Bathrooms could use some work, but perfectly functional.

They did not give us the room we paid for. We paid for two queens, instead received a futon (that was broken btw) and a king. Otherwise, it was a great hotel with a great view from the sixth floor patio.

Beautfiul building. Central location. Allow you to store luggage prior to 3 PM check in. So if you have an excursion planned, you can drop your stuff off, then come back later to get your room key.

We planned to spend our anniversary day in Catalina island, so booked our stay in Catalina hotel st Lauren. We liked the room and there is open deck in 6th floor, from which you can actually get a very good view of Catalina island and pacific ocean. We had some good time there. Totally recommend for the price we were paying.

This was a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and I'm thankful they had a place to keep our stuff before/after check-in and check-out so we could adventure without our luggage. The room was clean and the bed was ok. The deck view is simply amazing!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. We got a deal on Groupon for a very fair price. They have luggage storage (at your own risk) but will keep valuables like laptops to pick up at reception if you ask. Free coffee and tea in the morning was also a plus. Quaint and cute place with no frills!

Horror show hotel This hotel is extremely noisy. Our room, 101, was located on the ground level across from the coffee service and lobby, creating noise. The main water line ran behind our wall, so you hear every sink and toilet all night long. And this hotel is on a busy street so there is consumer constant road noise, even though there aren't supposed to be many vehicles here. And the flimsy window blinds let in light from the street. The air conditioner is one of the old types that is hung on a window sill, so you get both sound and cool air coming through it. The front desk attendant was rude and not accommodating. I had booked with them direct, specified that it was my wife's birthday we'd be celebrating, and in turn received a horrible room and a front desk attendant who insisted she didn't have the power to give us a different room. This should be an escape room because that's all we wanted to do after spending one night here! We cancelled our second night, even though that was my wife's birthday, because of how pathetic this hotel was.

The location is convenient and there is a great view from the 6th floor patio. The rooms were not that great for the price you pay but this seems to be true for everything on Catalina.

The St Lauren was a Pleasant Experience. We loved the room, the balcony offered us a fine view of the bay and ocean. The Roof top Terrace was a Joy to relax and enjoy the evening. Thank you so much for a Wonderful Stay. We Will Be Back.

Very beautiful vintage hotel. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and spacious. I love that the rooms come with a ceiling fan and the windows open which is a bonus for me. Rooms do not have coffee makers but coffee and tea is available each morning in the lobby. The hotel is within walking distance to the local shops and restaurants (no restaurant on site). Great place.

Nice place. What I expected of a seaside hotel for the price. Not perfect. But just fine.
