***BED BUGS ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*** Had a two day stay at the Sleep Inn in Ashtabula. I woke up at 1:30 in the morning the first night with bed bugs. I went downstairs and they transferred ya rooms. The next day a manager was supposed to see us and never did. We went to the front desk and asked for him. I stated the obvious that because we had to move out of our room at 1:30 am into another room that we should not have to pay for that night. He declined and only offered a partial refund. He said that 25% discount would be applied. After 2-3 more minutes (can’t believe I had to actually debate this with him!) he gave us a 50% discount. I am still shocked by this. If you run a business this is not acceptable. I’ll be contacting corporate. The night should have been comped. No question about it.

Clean but lacking anything special. Fine for a nights sleep. The staff is great, and breakfast was free. If hotel buffet breakfast isn't your style, there is a Denny's across the street.

I spent one night and was very comfortable. The King Suite had an appearance that it was slightly used (stains on carpet, cracks in the drywall, etc) but the room was bright and clean and the restroom was clean as well. The breakfast was good too. I would stay there again.

The Sleep Inn and Suites is still under construction. The Staff is very nice and accommodating however the rooms are sub par. The area for the Friday had chunks of the wood broken or torn off leaving an ugly looking dresser. Also the outlet situation is unreal. A simple plug strip here or there could free up four outlets in the room. I had 4 people in our 2 queen room but there were only two outlets. Very strange. Otherwise our stay was very nice.

Well I didn't actually stay here . Was just here for a 1 year olds birthday party. The room that was rented was very small and not very clean. The staff not very helpful, and all seemed like they were in bad moods. But, nevertheless we made the best of things. When I used the restroom it was so strong smelling of cigarettes that I thought there was a fire in the bathroom. It's supposed to be non smoking. I told the lady at the desk, and she just shrugged her shoulders. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They seriously need a good manager at this establishment.

I reserved a top floor quiet room. When I arrived I was given a 1st floor room next to the lobby and pool. The complete opposite of what I reserved. We were there for a Volleyball tournament at Spire. The hotel and every hotel within an hour drive were sold out. They gouged the prices to $198 a night! The bathroom sink was cracked and supported by an old dirty 2x4. The scratched and gouged furniture in the room was dated by at least 20 years. We stayed two nights. The room was never cleaned. The hotel manager would only compensate me for the many inconveniences and hotel mistake if agreed to remove my already posted negative review. When i checked out, the front desk woman was very obviously high on heroin. She was slipping in and out of consciousness, belligerent and confrontational. Another employee arrived for work a few moments later and confirmed she was under the influence. I got the owners phone number. I called him with my complaints and concerns. He confirmed the employee was under the influence and they were trying to get her to go to a rehab. This place is a mess.

The staff at the front desk was excellent. We were home for a family emergency and the hotel staff helped us in every way. Excellent service for the morning breakfast and the maintenance staff took care of an issue within hours. Thank you for you efforts in making us feel at home. Kudo's for Steve at the front desk.

Not a great hotel. Very limited hot water morning and night. Sometimes you didn't get any. Older, run down hotel with some newer furnishings covering up the old. Subpar breakfast. Air conditioning didn't work. Parking lot lights turned off at night and in the early morning making it a safety and security issue. Dark parking lot combined with an adjacent major interstate is a thief or artist's dream. Won't stay here again.

Shower has the same pressure as a flat tire, wifi is comparable to dial up. Power outlet doesn't provide power. Do yourself a favor and call ahead to the comfort inn next door.

Room was nice though price was inflated due to bike rally. AC was strong though I had to climb over the second bed to reach controls. WiFi was SLOW after taking a while to connect. Front desk clerk was no help. Bed was very comfortable and shower was robust.
