Posted 7/6/18 ... I've had a Google account for a long time, and I've never felt compelled to write a review until now. My gf booked a room at Crystal inn, and we've been to multiple hotels in the area. The Crystal Inn is dirty and gross, and for some reason they're charging $75 for a single queen room. I wore a brand new pair of socks there and they're so dirty they're basically garbage after walking in the room for about a half hour. If you enjoy overpaying for disgusting, filthy rooms, then this is the place for you.

Secured a room for daughter and son-in-law for a week; somehow, the reservation was messed up when they arrived. Their single room with o e queen bed was supposed to be $49/night, but they were charged $66/night and did not receive a military discount even though she is active duty US Navy. The coffee pot in the room was missing the filter basket, so warming up a baby's bottle was hard. The bathroom reeked of stale cigarette smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room (subject to a $150 fee, which they had better not be charged or heads will roll). The whole place needs a good cleaning. I am very disappointed and wouldn't recommend it.

Ants in room. Whirlpool finally fixed after 2 months. (Thats a plus). Continental breakfast minus eggs sausage bisquits & gravy.(They used to serve) New owners and its went down hill. They charge 120 bucks a night for the suite. You are better off staying in Midland or Bay City.

Absolute joke. We rented a room very last minute and were not even there twelve hours before we were up and checked out of room the next morning. Later in the afternoon we were double charged on our online banking for the room. When I called and asked why the manager was VERY rude and claimed we had gotten candle wax all over his carpet which was something we had noticed the night before and was to exhausted to care about. The man didn’t give us a chance to explain why we were in the area or anything and continued to be very unprofessional. Not to mention the hairs all over the shower and bathroom floor along with the long black hair on the towels. At the time we weren’t being picky for $80 a night. I highly advise anyone to double triple check your room before settling in and calling the manager ASAP as we were told should have been done or you will be held responsible for damages done by previous guest.
