Loved this place. Recommend to everyone I know and I plan on going back again. Clean environment. Was in a decent smoking room with double beds. Next time going to a non smoking room. Food is great and atmosphere is a breath of fresh air. The pool was intimate for a public space . Not too large. I enjoy my time there. Overall 10 stars.

I enjoyed my stay at the Tropicana. The room was recently renovated so it was nice, clean and spacious. There is so much to do in the casino that the one night we stood wasn't enough. The only thing is that you're going to do alot of walking if you want to see everything (but that's part of staying in a large hotel/casino that offers plenty of entertainment). Also, I wish they had check-in kiosks or mobile check-in so that you don't have to wait in line. Other than that I had a great time!

Has got literally everything. The casino is great and is always filled up with people. Free drinks at the casino. Try the hookah place nearby as they were pretty good. They really serve the best fries. Dance clubs have $20 cover and if you want to get in, it is worth it.

My stay at the Tropicana was very enjoyable. The hotel was quite large and felt like a maze at times, so be prepared to walk a lot. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, so no complaints there. There were a handful of dining options, all of which were slightly overpriced, but so are the rest of the resort restaurants in the area. In terms of entertainment options, there are plenty of bars and family friendly activities in the hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here for a weekend trip.

We love the Tropicana and how we are treated there. The rooms are nice, restaurants are very good, and the people go the extra mile. Oh, I also usually win there! I love my host and how her and the team treat me and my family. I can go down monthly or every so often and they always look to make it an enjoyable experience. Pool (before to the acquisition of the Chelsea) is lacking and a bit disgusting though.

Very nice hotel, lots of things to do without leaving the place. Great dinning options, as well as lunch AND breakfast. Several pools and an arcade. There is a non smoking tower of the hotel so the rooms don't stink. Over all a great place to stay with or without the family. Elevators are hard to come by during check out times, and you have to wait forever in line to checkout if you don't call ahead for express checkout.

I worked for the front desk years ago. I loved being in a fast-paced environment where you meet so many people from all over the world. The front desk manager was a jerk. However, the hotel and casino are great. Spacious rooms and many have views of the ocean, city, bay and even of the casino! The Quarter is absolutely beautiful. So many places to choose from to eat and there's also room service. The casino is welcoming and clean. Make sure you get a players card so you can earn free stays, food and more.

We love staying at the Tropicana. They have good pricing, high in summer but same as most other places, if not cheaper. Right on boardwalk with lots around and inside to do. The Quarter & downstairs is great, lots of food to choose from, snacks/sweets, shopping, night, comedy and dance club, and Imax theatre and family fun center for kids. If your a gambler they offer nice gifts and point system. Pool is always packed and West tower is always loud at night. Rooms are comfy, just need microwave to reheat left overs. Staff is nice and helpful. Check in needs some help, be prepared to wait.

First time here meeting a old friend from high school. The company was wonderful and the food choices were great! The hotel itself needs a good cleaning. The walkways need dusting/mopping and the lighting is kind of cloudy/dingy. My room in the newer section had a nice view although the bed was extremely uncomfortable, lumpy. The room itself has had patch work, a few new items such as shower doors/bathroom counter tops. The hotel labels it new?

This is a really nice casino. Always clean inside and lots of energy coming from staff. I like the mall area with all the stores and restaurants. That area is a really nice area of the casino. I also really like the Wet Willies here. A pretty delicious alcoholic beverage!

I loved it. I stayed in a suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms. The kitchen had so much cabinet space. Dishes and kitchenware provided. The balcony was great. One of my favorite parts about the room, besides the large jacuzzi hot tub of course. It was very clean and the bedding was one of the softest I've ever experienced.

I am honestly not sure why people had so many bad reviews. I loved to hotel to be honest. We stayed in the Havana tower and had a beautiful view of the beach. Our room was clean and very nice. The restaurants in the hotel were absolutely amazing and definitely all very tasty and the shops were also great. The only thing that sucks about this hotel is the resort fee. Other than that I enjoyed my stay very much and highly recommend the Trop.

My family enjoyed staying at this resort! They should be 4-5 star location with so many things to do! I can't wait to go back. We checked out of a 4 star hotel that mislead us about the indoor pool being open, and gratefully found Tropicana as our mini vacation Rescue! The pool was clean, rooms were clean, & the resort had plenty of things to do. I truly loved it & so did the family. Wish we booked here first.

Attended the NJ League for Nursing conference here this week. The conference facilities were spacious and well appointed. The casino was directly under the meeting rooms so when it was time for fun we didn't have far to go. Between the Marketplace and the Quarter there were plenty of food and shopping choices. Our room in the South Tower was very comfortable and had an ocean view. The only "negative" was construction on a walkway outside of our window however since we were out early in the am it wasn't really an inconvenience.

Fun well kept casino with all my favorite slot machines and friendly dealers. Don't get me wrong, I love to drink smoke and gamble and encourage everyone to have their fun. Some casinos do a wonderful job keeping air circulating so it doesn't smell like a stale ashtray. Unfortunately this one doesn't do such a great job with that. Everything else is top notch.

I have been going here for years. I have not stayed over night here for some time but love going to the "The Quarter" for dinner. They have so many options to choose from. No matter which place you choose to eat at, the food and service is top notch. If you are looking for a more casual place to eat. You can look into dining somewhere in the "Marketplace" this is located on the boardwalk level and has many options to choose from.

The room (in the west tower) was the quietest room that I've stayed in, in any casino in Atlantic city. Very clean presentation, and pleasant staff. Lots of dining choices and there were many new slots since the last time I was there.

Great time at the Tropicana. Actually won some money. We also went to The Retro Bar. It was cool although it seemed to be all 70's music. We went cause it said 70's and 80's. But great time anyway. Totally recommend.

Plenty of table games and hundreds of new and improved slot machines! The remodeling has the casino looking amazing. Plenty of fine dining available from Italian, Chinese to American cuisine. A night club around every corner if you're into that scene with great music. The rooms are nice and rather affordavle considering it's Atlantic City.

Awesome place to stay on the boardwalk. A little more expensive then the other hotels but a lot of games and places to eat. Room was clean, service was great. I've stayed here a few times now and have no complaints. Lots of after hours bars inside, energized nightlife.

The Tropicana has a lot of good choices for dining and drinks. We went to A Dam Good Sports Bar for the Superbowl. The hosts, servers and bartenders were friendly and fast despite the super busy time. The food is always good there. Home of the $5 40 oz. We shared some sandwiches and 40oz bud lights for a good price. We always like to visit there for sports related games.

Tropicana is the best casino and hotel in Atlantic city. Forget about the $500 a night rooms. If your a regular working stiff and just want to have a good time with your family this is the place. The key is to ask for a corner room facing the ocean and they will oblige you. The ocean front rooms in the Tropicana are some of the most beautiful rooms on the boardwalk. Dont forget Carmines for dinner👍

The rooms are nice but the bed that I was in felt like a rock and the extra blankets that I asked for were kind of gross. The service there is great and so is the location. I am definitely going back but I will bring my own extra blanket.

I had a great time! It was great being back at the Tropicana Casino and Resort and the Christmas Jubilee show was wonderful! Felt like a little girl again.. I wanted to go back and see it another time while I was still there but you know, sometimes we get sidetracked LOL!.. but it was great go see it. I had a very nice time for the 3 days I was there. I haven't been there since 2011 but I have been going to Atlantic City consistently since. So it was really good to go back to the Tropicana. I'll See You Again Tropicana in a few days! Oh and don't forget ladies stop at Francesca's and check out the really Limited or shall I say one of a kind gift and garments. The accessories are fabulous! And also see what they have at Marshall Rouse! I love it! Bought two vest with fur under $200 and my favorite "White House Black Market" But don't forget the Christmas show!

Went with a group of people that we met at the Wyndam. Ate at one of the many restaurants there. Food was great and our plates were always full. I had to walk around the place to work off the food. Each floor has its own theme. One for the slots, another floor dedicated to the restaurants and bars, another one for the upscale shops.

The staff is very friendly and there are a lot of good gambling options but don't expect a great room. We had no hot water for 2 days the elevators sound and look like they are from a horror film, the bathrooms are dated. The rooms are 3 star at best but the rest of the Tropicana is great.... try out the Palms restaurant for great seafood and steaks

I came for the casino, and the Cuba Libre rum bar, and did not leave disappointed. After I played my fill of slots, I went over to the bar and with the help of the fantastic staff there, tried a flight of tasty rums. I also tried a fine grocery store in the casino, and enjoyed the macaroons there. There's a lot to do, and the price is pretty reasonable. The tropical theme is quite fun.
