Nice rooms and lobby. The casino is no longer there so they have a lot of unused space but the restaurants are still running. They have an arcade and mini golf inside which is cool for rainy days. If you walk through the ground level you can go straight out to the boardwalk and the beach. 20 mins walk to the Tropicana and like 15 to Caesars palace.

I was visiting the boardwalk and visited the Showboat because I heard there is a pinball arcade. It was Independence Day so by the time I showed up it was already closed (closed at 6pm). From what I could see, there were some interesting pinball machines and even a Pacman machine. You pay after you play, based on how many hours you've been there rather than per game you've played. From what I could tell, it would have been fun.

It's a hotel now. Just a hotel with a gigantic area to walk past with nothing in it. Not even an electric indoor go kart track or decently humanly prices top golf virtual golf center. There are still restaurants to eat at, but the walk from boardwalk to garage was tough to so since it so empty In there. We saw alit of families coming down with chairs and umbrellas, so the amenities in that sense certainly work well for what it is. The burger place downstairs had some heavy business which was promising. Lots of signs oddly inside point patrons to hard Rock for fun. Was weird. Either way it's still there and relevant.

My husband and I just had a great stay with our toy poodle. The staff was particularity nice and friendly, especially Katrina at the front desk. There's really nothing to do at the showboat at this point, but with the new nearby casino's coming soon this should change. Best option for a boardwalk stay with our fur baby.

My boyfriend and I went down for memorial day weekend and stayed in a junior suite. The room was amazing. So clean and everything was beautiful. The best part was the jacuzzi tub, it was so relaxing. The view from the 25th floor was breath taking. All in all we always enjoy our stay at showboat!

I stayed here for my birthday weekend. The people were pleasant & friendly. There was an event they were hosting. The outlets in the room were a bit wonky & should be checked into. As nice & pretty as the room is the pillows were not that comfortable. The front desk clerk was nice but she seemed confused when I asked her about the self parking and directed me to speak to a valet. Which I did & he he guided us from there. Other than that I had a nice time. 😁🤘

The trip was a disaster. There was absolutely nothing going on at the hotel. The hotel is isolated from all the event going on nearby. The room was clean and comfortable though. But still there was absolutely nothing to for the four days I spent here.

I booked this room before I remember Showboat wasn't a casino anymore. The room had a dirty smell. At least one of the chairs had definitely been peed on in its life. I saw a booger on the window sill. They didn't provide me with a bar of soap, so I had to wash my hands with shower gel. The hotel has a few restaurants listed, but I don't know where they keep them, half of it is abandoned. There was one open, a burger place that looked like they had trouble handling the few tables they had occupied, no one greeted me or offered to sit me, so I left. Food didn't look that good. Overall, I wish I would have just stayed at a motel closer to a real casino. It would have been less of a let-down. Showboat is a waste of your money.

Atlantic City has been transitioning back to a fun, hip city and the Showboat is riding full steam ahead. New Orleans theme makes you want to throw beads off the balcony (but don’t). Every week there is a fun event and Management is very friendly. While there is no casino, there’s glow in the dark mini golf and a bar on the boardwalk. They are under refurbishment but a great deal for a fun hotel ON THE BEACH!

The old casino, now a convention center. Stunning architecture, a true throwback to the old casino days. The staff was incredibly friendly. They do not offer free breakfast like most hotels do. Instead they offer a couple in house resteraunts. Over all the stay is well worth it.

Great place to stay. Awesome staff if you can bring your own food. Food is good for a one day snack but I would give it 2 🌟 🌟. Staff is very helpful & informative. It's right on the beach so the walk is short. There is also a medium size pool on the roof, bring suntan lotion. The place is roomy but no microwaves. Great pricing if you plan in advance..

They were very nice. Its a pretty place. It was quiet due to just reopening and working on renovations.. But the quiet was one of the things i enjoyed. After renovations i believe it has the potential to be really great

Although the Showboat is not a casino anymore, the hotel is wonderful. Monika in guest services was outstanding and the comedy show was very good. The rooms were very comfortable and nice. I give it 5 stars because Showboat met my needs. I look forward to staying again, especially because my two dogs can accompany me. If you stay in AC consider the Showboat hotel.

The stay was so nice the first night we had to stay a second night the hospitality was excellent. Katrina our hostess made our stay like a home away from home for a second night. Hope to see them again when I come back in January. Thank you

Good and cheap place, but don’t expect to have anything happening around the hotel. Hotel itself doesn’t have casinos, or any activity or the surrounding areas. Suggestion would be see if you guys could market some shows or activities, especially in the open space in the vestibule. I think microwave could have made it little better experience, and parking for hotel guest should have been at reasonable price. overall good experience, would visit next year if the casinos or activities get added to have little more to do within the hotel.

Very solid for the price. Room was very clean and tidy. Bathroom was a normal hotel bathroom with 2 sinks. No casino but you already knew that. Only complaint is the 4 pm check in time. Really late in my opinion and by the time 3.50 rolled around the line to check in was easily 50 people deep. Before long they had 5 receptionists checking people in tho and the line was moving pretty well. We were checked in by 430. So be aware of that if you're staying there.

Absolutely horrible! Don’t waste your money. We booked a room for my husband’s birthday and from the second we got there the entire hotel was a disappointment. We waited in line for an hour just to check in. The room was very out dated and only 2 out of 6 light fixtures worked. The carpet, head board and couch were covered in stains and the fridge smelled like old food. Because it was my husband’s birthday we just tried to make the best of it, however I felt extremely ripped off and wanted something to be done about it. When booking the room, their website said they had a casino, but apparently they got rid of it in 2014. Unfortunately when it was time to check out, we were unable to even speak to management due to only one employee being at the front desk who was dealing with another unsatisfied customer. We waited in line once again but the employee completely ignored us and we had no choice but to use express check out. We are extremely unhappy with our stay and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had an ocean view for a very reasonable price! And right on the boardwalk. Rooms were sparkling clean and service was impeccable. Best hotel deal I've ever scored. It was very quiet, so if you wanna be where all the action is, this isn't the place, but it's just a short walk down the boardwalk to find people and noise if that's what you're looking for. ☺
