Stayed four nights at the Cooper street lofts. It was a busy bus route. They were steady until midnight. The upper loft had a order of urine from the mattress and the shower had mold on the ceiling. Not worth $1700

So, like it says on the website it is definately a hidden gem. My husband and i stayed in the room called the Midnight. It was the best bed i ever slept on. Momma Norma I could of taken home with me and her son David was such a pleasure to chat with. The Inn Keepers Jonathan and Elizabeth were great as well and made you feel right at home. It was a Fabulous experience and I am booking another stay for the spring. Looking forward to seeing you all again.oxox Meg Ligotti .

The family that owns and operates Snow Queen is very hospitable. The complementary breakfast far exceeds most m/hotels. It is great to wake up and have a direct view of the mountains and to come back from a hike to relax sore muscles in the hot tub. While some of Aspen appears to be transitioning into a overly modern look, Snow Queen maintains a cozy Victorian style charm. My fiancé and I highly recommend staying here.

This place is a true gem of ski lodges, especially for being in the heart of Aspen. The Victorian building is a great piece of heritage in an otherwise overdone town. Being from back East I think we take a certain amount of pride in staying a local ski lodges and the Snow Queen does not disappoint. Dave, Em, and Norma are all terrific people and run a great, clean, quiet, lodge just blocks from the mountain. Breakfast and all the snacks are amazing and offer a great opportunity to chat with other visitors. Oh and don't forget to try out the hot tub! Cheers, Morgan
