We stayed at the Riveredge this 4th of July . It was not a pleasant experience. First there was not enough parking for the people that were staying there second house keeping seem to be all gathered in one spot and not doing there job and didn’t touch our room all day I had to ask for more towels. We wanted to have breakfast in the restaurant we waited almost an hour and was not severed. Come to find out the waitress said that the kitchen never received our order do to the printer was out of paper or the paper was put in upside down. This is not the first time that a family member has had a bad experience at the Riveredge. For the cost of staying there you would think your service would be tip top. Myself and my family we never stay at the Riveredge again!

Over all good place, next to the river, clean and well maintained. The office staff was friendly and did help us to boil the baby food at their counter. 4 star, coz of No microwave oven in the room. Apart from that everything was great.

Stayed there for one night and quickly learned that it was way overpriced and out dated. Immediately entering you can tell the hotel is outdated by the dinged up furniture, old carpets, and musty smell. The rooms were big which was nice, however the walls and doors were very thin and we could hear our neighbors late through the night. We ara at the restaurant hotel which also seemed outdated and had a very musty smell. The food was ok but not worth the price payed, much better idea to go out on the town and find food there. Overall I can't believe the price we payed to stay, which did not even include breakfast or coffee, at a place that sounded great when we're planning but fell short.

Very nicely maintained hotel. The best choice in the area. The food for breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Nice hotel, had no hot water the first night and next morning. Staff moved us to another room...kinda sucked when we only booked two nights but got to stay on both sides of hotel. Overpriced for what we went through

Beautiful old world hotel with many little luxuries not found often in newer hotel chains. Beautiful views and the staff was amazing and very friendly. Was here for an event and stayed overnight and both were amazing.

Avoid ! Why ? Read on - This is one of the worst, dirtiest and most decrepit properties I've ever stayed in. A dump. First impression: Elevator with defective panel and urine spots in the corner. Second impression: Leaky roof in the hallway, soaked carpet. It gets worse: The room is so dirty that I'd caution anyone to take off their shoes. There's mold in the bathroom, on the curtains, bugs next to the tub, rusty light fixtures. The furniture is mostly damaged, sheets on the bed are so treadbare that one can actually see through them. The ceiling fan wobbles dangerously, emitting a hideous racket making sleep impossible. All of this is (barely) illuminated by energy saving bulbs which make reading almost impossible. Sounds unbelievable? I wish - have a look at the pictures:

This place was amazing. I was there with a small group and they met all our needs for every little thing. While on my trip I got injured (unrelated to my stay at the resort) and they could not do enough to make sure I was comfortable. Will definitely return

We had a great stay. The room was very nice and had hardwood floors. Bathroom was very small and if you're going to watch TV at all don't bother. Aside from the TV issue and our door having issues opening the stay was nice. This is our first time here at this hotel it was actually cheaper than Captain Thomson's Resort. I have always stayed at the captain. I will be returning to the captain only because of the convenience of the town.
