The location is great and within walking distance to the Metro and a number of good restaurants. Staff were friendly, free breakfast was good, and the rooms were pretty up to date. The TVs have Netflix, Hulu, etc., which was great. I would definitely stay here again.

This Residence Inn got to have one of the worst Gym. Old equipment with wires all over the place. The equipment TV monitors do not work and the dangling wires make it scary. I stayed there for 3-days and hardly saw anybody at the gym, talked with at least 3 other guests during evening and all had the same comments. So, if you are a morning exercise person stay away. Very expensive parking. Rest is ok.

This hotel was beyond what I expected. The rooms were like the comforts of being at home. And the staff made me feel that I was priority. I enjoyed the breakfast and hours of breakfast that's included.

The rooms are great, it's very useful to have a stovetop plus they include pots, plates, and silverware. The only thing is that it mentioned a conventional oven in the amenities and that is not true. The elevator card swipe is also a bit finicky. Other than that, great stay.

Excellent happy hour, including some very good food (can effectively serve as a light dinner, which is a big money and time saver). The lobby area is very large and functions as a very good work space for downtime during nearby meetings (especially at the new NSF Headquarters). The reception was very helpful and luggage storage for a full workday was no issue.

Incredible staff and very reasonable pricing given the local area competition. Rooms are very adequate for extended stays. They host social events almost every night which are perfect if you're trying to get work done. The shuttle will get you to anywhere you're too lazy to walk to and the Metro will take care of the rest. Very quiet part of the city at night and I feel perfectly safe walking around with my wife & kids.

Another great stay at The Residence Inn on Mill Road in Alexandria. Fantastic staff that treats you like family. Yeni in the cafe is always a joy and Phillip is a wonderful, caring bartender. The social events are so enjoyable and breakfast is always great. The rooms are clean and we'll stocked. I actually look forward to staying here.

I enjoyed my stay here and will return. I did not interact much with the staff. Check in was effortless and was staff helpful to put me away from morning sun. Breakfast area is not very big, but typical in my experience. Breakfast options are enough, but I miss potatoes. When did those disappear? There is only one on staff which makes it sometimes slow to keep up with patrons. I think there is a bar which I did not experience. Room were clean and very quiet. Not a sound from outside or hallways in my experience. I had to sleep during the day during my stay. Keep your key card handy - you need it to go up the elevator, but not down to the garage after you check out. Parking garage is tiny - I'm getting used to that in the DC area. There was always parking for me. It was difficult to figure out how to park in front of the hotel to check in. Drive around the back of the hotel through the tiny parking lot and you can drive south in front of the hotel. Directions would have been helpful.

We had a great stay! Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, with lots of choices. Room seemed well insulated. Could not hear metro at all even though it ran right next to the hotel.

Very much loved the whole hotel, just dont smoke (420) in the room or leave it out like I did. and leave and come back.. They are quick to invade your privacy instead of. Calling u on the cell.. It was a very hairy situation. But. I am happy with the outcome.. But I. Was given a warning.. But. I do highly recommend this hotel
