The hotel staff put chemicals in the pool during swimming hours so we had to wait to let the kids swim. The breakfast was really good and had tons of options. The downside is you have to check in and give your room number and number of guests and it has to be checked on a list before you are given a plate to get breakfast. The rooms are outdated and in need of some major updating. For the price it isn't terrible but if you are looking for something nicer then you will want to find another place.

Super nice owners, rooms are nice and the hotel is quiet. Amazing breakfast!! You would think you’re staying at a 4 star hotel with this breakfast. Well worth the money.

If I could give this a negative star I would! I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone. You will be better off at other hotels near by. From our check-in to our check-out it was a horrible experience. Front desk lady was rude, no consideration that we were checking in from a long day on the road. Our “free breakfast” wasn’t to be enjoyed in the comfort of our own room. We had to go downstairs and CHECK IN FOR BREAKFAST! Who does that? While we were trying to enjoy our breakfast the manager walked in and was slamming the trays as if he was upset because food was gone to waste. This same manager rudely asked my son and his friends who had gone down to buy from their snack bar, “When are you leaving?” 😲 There is no signal what so ever. We had to drive out of hotel and park at near by plaza just to use laptop. Huge cameras are everywhere, as if you are being watched. There was also this man dressed in street clothes walking around with a master key!?!?! That made us feel so uncomfortable leaving our valuables in our room. The pictures are probably enhanced because the rooms were very outdated, dirty and smelly. I hope you will consider my review before booking.

We stayed on the 1st floor in a family suit. Both of our rooms had very comfortable beds. Our room had a funny smell when we first arrived but either it went away or we just got used to it. The breakfast was not great, but they did have fresh fruit. This hotel is in a great location. The pool looked nice but we were told Abilene pools do not open until April. If you are on a budget this hotel is not a bad choice.

So first day in Abilene all hotels booked so we went in owner or manager very nice gave us a rate little steep so we went looking for a different room couldn't find one so we called back he was still very nice however when we went back there was a different lady there she was the rudest person ever and I'm from Albuquerque refused a room then told us there was none so she lied I will not ever be going back there and I advise not to she has no sense of customer service.

Cute little place, thin walls. The beds we're comfortable but the sheets were stained. It made me a little uncomfortable that my blinds did not completely close and I was on the first floor. Someone looked through the window after my shower, I don't think they realized someone was in the room.

The accommodations were very nice though the infrastructure is rather old. Lack of power outlets aside from in the bathroom. The place just needs a nudge into the 21st century.

This motel appears to be in a remodeling project. Bugs were found on the bed. We were moved to another room, where a bug was found in the bathroom. We were told an exterminating service comes once a month. The outside security locks did not work--anyone could walk into the building. Small pets are allowed for a daily fee, but there is no good outdoor area for them. On the up side, the continental breakfast is good. --several choices of cold cereal and fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy, even a made-to-order omelet station, and more. We will not return to this motel.

We stayed here to help move my Step-daughter to McMurry. It's a nice, no frills kind of hotel. They do have a very good all you can eat breakfast for guests. There are a couple of restaurants very near by. There's also a Natural Grocer next door. The rooms are nice and the bed comfortable. They have free WiFi that is reliable. The price is decent also. We will stay here again the next time we are in Abilene.
