Very Good

Great historical charm with lots of period decor and furniture. The staff is very friendly and shows genuine care for their clients. Overall cleanliness in rooms is great, but there are aspects of the place that definitely show age, but the location and charm more than make up for it.

The old place was in such great shape and being run by capable, professional folks. My stay was pleasant and I see from their Facebook posts that they've already made future improvements. Definitely staying there again.

Poor

Very disappointed in how the bridal party was treated here. We were told we may not used the quilts while staying at this establishment. Apparently they do not wash their quilts after each visit because we were told if we used them and they were dirty (food or makeup) that there would be an additional cleaning fee for this. This was directly from one of the owner’s mouths. Why are these not being laundered? We were all adults and acting very respectful so I’m not sure why she felt the need to be rude especially in the presence of the bride who was paying for the room there. The bride would have loved to use the dining area downstairs for her bridal brunch but has still not received a call back. This is all a shame because this is a convenient location for many different celebrations.

Great stay. It's like Grandmas house in the country. I found it to be charming and well appointed. A wardrobe in place of a closet! The king bed was old school fluffy luxury. Frigid air conditioning (It was 105 degrees outside). Staying at the Belmont was a pleasant experience and I'd gladly return.
