While in many old parts of the city survived including areas such in Gamla Stan, Södermalm, Östermalm, Vasastan and Kungsholmen which are top tourist attractions. Modern daytime Stockholm industrial activities lean toward high-tech businesses and service sector.
Main means of transportation include bus, metro, suburban rail, light rail, tram and archipelago boat. The climate here is cold during winter, and warm during summer. June-August is the best time to visit during the year.
