By land area, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the largest Arab state in Western Asia. The KSA cradles noteworthy historical Muslim locations such as the holiest sites of Medina and Mecca. In Medina, the mosque Al-Masjid al-Nabawi contains the tomb of the prophet Muhammad. A mosque in Mecca called Masjid al-Haram contains Kaaba, which is Islam’s most sacred place. The national sport of the KSA is football. Sports like basketball, windsurfing, sailing and scuba diving are also popular hobbies.
