A Beautiful Place to relax and partake on onsite activities. I took the taxi from the city to this place and it cost only $20 (45 minutes).I was disappointed because I came for the Tram Ride, on that day, it wasn’t in service . The drive was in vain. Call beforehand to make sure activities are on schedule

Relaxing and beautiful views, but the amenities and grounds need upkeep. There is no 24h restaurant, our AC was damaged, and the animal exhibitions are closed on Mondays, fact which is not stated on their site. Keep this in mind when making your reservation.

This is our second night and we get a better sense of what is wrong. We did run into some staff who cared and genuinely helped, but the flaws remain: lack of personnel training, lack of management supervision, basic correctable problems are ignored ( loud bar music, dirty pool, over chlorinated to the point of causing reaction, no pool towels for hours, slow service, incompetence, no maps no explanation no brochures except the minimal useless ones you have to ask for. You find out what is available by talking to other guests or probing with the few personnel who are genuinely interested in being of help. Maybe it is a case of general staff burnout after the busy Easter week end, but at the prices charged for this hotel it is absolutely not acceptable. It is a shame because this is a 5 star location and rooms properly serviced and checked could be rated equally 5 stars, but the untrained personnel and lacking management supervision still result in a feeling of disappointment. Staying one more night so let us see if things can get any better.

You could stay here for a few days or 4 weeks and you would still have so many things to do I would love to go here again. It's definitely worth taking a trip and just seem beautiful wildlife. It just once in a lifetime experience that you will never forget. Song monkeys sloths real rat like creatures. There are tons of birds all over 200 species in just 3 days

Great place to get out of the city. Hotel tries hard to accommodate everyone. Get the all inclusive package without it dinner buffet is $28 per person. Pack a water bottle, bug spray and a hat - have fun!

A really unique place. Reminds one of the resorts of the past. Beautiful buildings with good restaurants. Definitely a place to stay if your in Panama. Pricier than a typical hotel. But very much worth the money.

The place is beautiful but not many food options. If you like buffets thi place is for you but be ready to pay... Expensive. To buy a snack have to drive to an hour... But again. The place and the area are a must see

Magnificent setting, beautiful hotel, wonderful and gracious country. Management needs to provide staff with better training, adequate supplies for guests, maintenance budget. Issues reported to front desk, no follow through (with coffee, towels, room maintenance, etc. multiple times with several in our group) Service SLOW and disorganized in restaurant and bar.

Did not stay at the resort but I did do the monkey island boat tour. It was a great experience. Make sure to book it early in the day when the animals are active.

An amazing experience to see and be at. I saw negative reviews about service and amenities, but seriously know where you are going. You are in the rain forest and still you have unbelievable amenities and more importantly and experience that most people will never have. The animals and environment is something I only saw on the television until coming here. And for the folks that say the service is slow, well it is that way in all of Panama. I actually like it, the Panamanians know how to not rush. Remember, you as an outsider are in their world, time to adjust. I can't say anything negative about the resort or area, I wish I could stay longer and experience more.

This is a brilliant place to visit. The tours are amazing and the rooms are really comfortable. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because service in the restaurant at breakfast and the bar is really really slow. Also some of the electric sockets in my room didn't work and although there were 4 people staying in the room: towels, toiletries and coffee was only left for one person. 😕 The wifi is good and the resort itself is really beautiful and peaceful.

We really loved the nature tours, the pool and the wonderful views. Universally the tour and concierge employees were knowledgeable and pleasant. The hotel is a fantastically clean and modern facility. Two of the restaurants were closed while we were there, and the remaining options were mediocre at best. The food situation definitely needs work. Time to hire a restaurant in Casco Viejo to fix your menus.

We didn't actually stay here, so this rating isn't reflective of the guest experience; however, we did walk the grounds and participate in their cable car canopy tour. It is a beautiful Resort with incredible views and very friendly staff. The cable car tour was fun - it brings you high up into the tree tops of the forest and drops you off at an observation deck. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and allow you to take your time taking photos and such. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Panama.
