Comfortable rooms with tea/coffee facilities. Buffet dinner, food is delicious. Great game drive provided. Walking trails. Big swimming pool. WiFi in restaurant/reception. There is a souvenir shop with good choice. Style is more hotel-like, not a typical lodge.

I loved this place. The fact that antelope roam freely in and out of the lodge, combined with the well-tended grounds, lovely food and of course Gondwana’s lovely staff, the dry desert surroundings, the red dunes of the Kalahari, the bespoke fittings in the rooms... it was my first Gondwana experience but by no means my last.

One of the nicest resorts in the group that came across our way almost by accident. Outside dining deck to interact with the wild animals

The hospitality and the food was great. I have 4 months twins and I use fridge to keep the breast milk. I was dissapointed that there was no fridge in a luxury room we booked. But the kitchen staff were very accomodating.

In the middle of nowhere with pleasant facilities and very friendly staff...our rooms overlooked the water hole and what an awesome experience watching as the animals would quench their thirst! Truely Kalahari

Modern place, good food and service. Sunset drive in the kalahari was great! Yet not a lot of charm, bungalows are very close to each other and pools were not very clean.

What a lovely place. The lodge has recently had a complete make-over. The family rooms / cottages are very big and comfortable. Ours was overlooking the desert and waterhole. There are 2 pools on the premises. The food is buffet and great. There is a cosy bar with free WIFI. But highlight of our 2 day stay were the Ebikes. We rented them 3 times and saw so many wildlife on our bike trips. Just an amazing lodge with a lovely staff.

Drinks on the Dunes: whatever you do, go on the afternoon game drive. You're not going to see the Big Five, but it's a wonderfully relaxing to do, and Gondwana's game guides are just great to listen to, full of pride in the wildlife they're telling you about. We had a fine young man called Ndumba, who was a mine of information on everything, from the sociable weavers to the giraffes, zebra and bat-eared foxes we saw. And towards the end of the drive, we stopped for drinks and snacks on one of the dunes - sipping on a gin and tonic and chatting to everyone, as the sun dipped below the horizon, splashing its flamboyant orange hues across the landscape ... a special moment. PS: Ndumba was typical of the supremely friendly staff at the Kalahari Anib.

Unbelievable campsites, size of a few soccer pitches. Private luxuary ablution block. The lodge has a terrific restaurant where we had the best buffet of our entire holiday (and believe me, we tried a few) Staff at reception and in restaurant very friendly and cheerful.

Lovely chalets, super breakfast. Wonderful and well sign-posted walks into Kalahari countryside (longest sign-posted walk is around 10km, plenty of wildlife from zebras, gnus, aardvark, kudus, etc etc, really enjoyable just before sunset).
