Well located, large hotel, but service is very disappointing. Lobby bar is so slow you just don't want to go, restaurants are very diverse, with some good ones and some absolutely terrible... With such a premium location, it feels like a waste

Second time returning to the Cerulean and was not disappointed, and can't wait to return again! Our room was surprisingly spacious for Tokyo standards, very clean, and updated. Guests are a mix of business, leisure, and event attendees. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Stayed in the executive floor with access to the lounge for happy hour and continental breakfast. Close proximity to transit at Shibuya station and worth exploring the neighborhood behind the hotel for small shops and restaurants.

Really good hotel. Not cheap, but you get really good value for money for what you pay. The location is fantastic, 3 minutes walk away from Shibuya station, with links to many subway lines, as well as the JR Yamanote line. There is also a fully equipped gym and swimming pool in the hotel, rare in Tokyo. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and the toilets are clean and nicely furnished. Only small gripe was that the pillows were a tad bit too hard.

The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, loved the pillows! They have a "handy" phone that you can borrow when going out. Very convenient and never seen it before. Bathroom has all amenities you need, the view is great and the air conditioning is silent.

Stayed here while visiting Tokyo and found the staff and facilities to be top notch. The service is outstanding and I could not be happier with how I was treated. I had a king bedroom on the executive floor with a gorgeous view of the east towards the Tokyo tower. The room was very spacious, clean, and quiet. Shibuya station is a short walk (less than a quarter mile) and there is a Family Mart (think a better 7-11) a block away. Lots of shops and places to eat nearby as well. I will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Tokyo.

If you’re looking for a great location in the heart of Shibuya and huge rooms, this is the place for you, but you will have to pay for the pleasure. The Cerulean isn’t cheap, but you really can appreciate what you’re paying for as the rooms are the biggest I’ve stayed in in Tokyo. The view is also great and you can see for miles around if you get a high enough room. The best part of the stay was the beds as they basically two large single beds put together so you really spread yourself out. They’re also very comfortable so you’re guaranteed a good nights rest. The bathrooms are just as spacious as the bedroom and are stylishly equipped. Overall a great place to stay if your budget stretches far enough.

Stunning hotel, we lived on the 34th floor with an amazing view. The bed is huge and cosy, the bathroom has a bath tub and has a great size. We had access to the lounge room which i can highly recommend, snacks, wine, drinks, and soda - all included (well, in our case). And the service is amazing too, can highly recommend this hotel.

Modern, functional rooms with somewhat limited space. Comfortable bed with down quilt and two optional pillows, one memory foam and one down/buckwheat. Easy to use lighting and temperature control. Well equipped, spacious bathroom. Efficient elevators transport you to a great sky bar or to the ground floor dining. Western style or local breakfast options. Great staff!

A good hotel in a good location, just a short distance from the buzz and the famous Shibuya intersection. Rooms are large, bright and comfortable with good view (the higher, the better). On the downside, the hotel is a little aging. Maybe because we stayed in another 5-star just before, but we couldn't not compare: TV only has Japanese channels, no USB plugs and no coffee in the room, just tea. Top panoramic bar and restaurant is for smokers so if you are sensitive to smell, don't go up there. Staff is moderately friendly.

Centrally located, if that possible in Tokyo, and easy connectivity to good transportation. Great view of the city and the famed "busiest intersection in the world" is a stone's throw away. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent for breakfast and priced appropriately.

Great location, good view, spacious room, little dated decor but overall pretty good. The reason for 2 stars is i feel dissapointed with its access to its facilities for guests. The reason i chose this hotel was its facilities particularly the pool. Although you pay a premium price for your room things like the swimming pool are off limits unless you pay a daily additional fee. Hmmmmm??? Never heard of hotels doing this before!!

Convenient location for business meetings. The restaurant CARAMELO offers one of the best Japanese Curries in Tokyo. Prices are on the higher side but it's worth to try it out.

Great location. Right off Shibuya station. Standard size swimming pool and great gym facility. The room decor could use some update and the reception service needs improvement.

Absolutely beautiful hotel my partner and I stayed in during a portion of time in Tokyo. Beautiful room, outstanding view of Tokyo tower and distant view of Mt. Fuji. The hotel was about 200 metres from Tokyo’s biggest shopping districts. Also very close to utilities such as convenience stores and restaurants.

A wonderful hotel with helpful staff and amazing rooms. With luxury room designs and comfortable beds, the hotel is a must for people wanting to treat themselves during their stay in the otherwise busy Tokyo. The only downside I could find with the hotel was a limited Wifi connection with rather poor performance.

Walking into the lobby is an impressive experience. There's a beautiful wall of windows to a green courtyard, in front of a nice cafe. Check in was quick and efficient, and a bellman was available to bring our luggage. We politely declined his help as our suitcases were easy to wheel about, but he insisted on guiding us to our room. Once inside, he made sure we knew how everything worked and that we were content. We had a king-size bed, which was ridiculously big. It was like two double beds side by side, very spacious for Japan. The rooms were perfectly appointed, including a very nice bathroom. Our entire stay was perfect, and we would be happy to stay there again!
