Some of the staff are very nice and helpful, especially the trainees, but the management of the hotel is, in my experience, pretty bad. The hamburgers and French fries I ordered from the room service were absolutely below any reasonable standard. Despite the price (20 euros each, plus additional charges for the room service) fries were probably cooked the day before and were cold, burned and soggy. The meat was hard and tasteless, but even worse was the sliced cheese, which I thought was a piece of carton at first. Apart from that I had several problems with the room and the drain of the shower was completely blocked, causing a flooding of the bathroom and part of the room. I asked to please fix it while I was out, but at 3 o'clock, when I went back, the room had not been done and the repair had not been carried out. Considering I was paying for a superior room...

Nice hotel and attached to the station. Great location if you plan to do what I did and use Brussels as a base and go to Ghent/Bruges or Antwerp. Straight off the train and into bed or hotel bar. Charged for breakfast I didn't have so keep an eye on your credit bill when you return home.

Excellent location for transport and sight seeing. The hotel itself is situated in the same complex as the train station but it somehow feels separate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had staying on the 9th floor was that I was woken up at 8am due to maintenance work.

There hotel was quite good and rooms were very clean and comfortable. Restraints were a bit pricey and not much variety. It might be best to eat elsewhere.

The hotel is very smart and a lovely place to be. The staff are friendly and cannot do more to help. They have a great scheme which gives you 10 euros off of the bar if you don't have your room serviced per day so we had 30 euros built up before we left. Whilst the hotel is located very conveniently next brussels Midi station, the area itself is very dodgy and requires you to be vigilant of pick pockets and people following you as we were followed on our first night. If my partner hadn't have spotted him we may have been mugged. Like any city keep your wits about you. The hotel's great though.

Rooms are large and comfortable even though I had to ask at the reception to have the heating increased. Relaxing bed and good toilet facilities. Restaurant is a bit below expectation.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... The hotel is very convenient if you're arriving in Brussels by train, since it's part of the station complex. Although we had to go round the outside in the rain since we didn't see any signs pointing to the entrance within the station. The staff were pleasant and friendly and overall the impression we got from the hotel was of it being quite fresh and modern, but without being stark and uncomfortable. Our room was very nice, we found the bed very comfortable. We particularly liked the large shower and separate toilet. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of hot and cold items, delicious bread and freshly-made waffles. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Grand Place, but it's easy to find your way and there are taxis, buses, trams and the metro right outside the hotel.

It's a very nice hotel and super quiet considering it's connected to the train station. It is very convenient if you are coming to Brussels via the Eurostar. Rooms are clean and modern. Bed is comfy. Only complaint is the shower keeps changing Temps randomly every few mins.

We really enjoyed our stay, the team at the reception was very, very friendly, helpful and welcoming, one of my best hotel experiences so far. The rooms had a good design and everything was clean. The hotel is very quiet although it is directly located above the train station. The only thing that could still be improved is the breakfast, the eggs were cold and not properly boiled (almost raw) - but the whole experience in the hotel was very good and I definitely can recommend it!
