Bahrain, meaning “two seas”, is also referred to as the “Pearl of the Arabic Gulf”. Its landscape is piled with wonderful historical sites and colorful traditional markets, mixed with modern skyscrapers and architecture. Bahrain’s rich history dates back more than 5,000 years to the Dilmun civilization, providing historical and religious artifacts, mosques, and natural attractions such as the “Tree of Life”, a 400-year-old tree in the Sakhir desert. Horse riding, bird watching and scuba diving are very popular amongst visitors.
